Save as JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, AVIF, JPEG XL, TIFF or JPEG 2000, using Apple’s encoders or the open-source ones.
Pick a SSIMULACRA2 target and pXL Crunch finds the setting that gets closest, then reports the score it actually reached.
Set a maximum length for the longest edge. Proportions are kept, and smaller images are never enlarged.
pXL Crunch never replaces a file. Converted copies are saved next to the original, or in a folder you choose, with “‑converted” added to the file name.
